Dr. Nevin El-Kabbaj, the Minister of Social Solidarity and Dr. Randa Mustafa, Benha University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs on behalf of the University President have signed a cooperation protocol between the Ministry and the University to establish a unit for social solidarity inside the University. In this regard, Dr. Randa Mustafa said that the unit seeks, in cooperation with the Sector of Community Service, to provide community services to students, referring that the Ministry will support the presence of a representative from Nasser Social Bank and an official from the Ministry to support small projects for students and follow-up graduates as well as support entrepreneurship.

Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches' Affairs said that the University Sector of Postgraduate Studies and Researches has issued; under the patron of Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, the University President; a booklet in English about the University International Relations in addition of details about studying at the University and its various faculties within a series of books that aim to highlight the position of the University on the local, regional and international levels.

Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs has inspected a number of faculties on the 1st day of the new academic year included the Faculties of Engineering at Shubra, Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine, Engineering at Benha, and Science.

Prof. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President has conducted an inspection tour to follow up the regularity of the educational process during the second day of the new academic year at the Faculties of Arts and Commerce.
During the tour, the University President has been reassured the implementation of precautionary and preventive measures in the halls in order to preserve student's health and safety.
In this regard, El Saeed praised the presence of University leaders and faculty members in their positions since the first day of the study among students to follow the progress of the educational process and organize a festive atmosphere to receive new students with the participation of their old colleagues.

Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President announced that the University has joined the list of 1500 best world universities for the second consecutive year according to U. S. News Ranking 2021 among 19 Egypt's public and private universities that have been ranked in this edition. He added that the University has been ranked among more than 30 thousand universities spread around the world, indicating that the University's rank this year has come 1182 globally, 41 in Africa, and 13 in Egypt. Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches' Affairs said that U. S. News Ranking based on 13 indicators that measure the research performance of the academic and research institutions and their global and regional reputation referring that 1678 universities from 80 countries have been ranked this year out of 30 thousand universities spread around the world. In the same context, El Gizawy said that the University has been ranked 299 globally in the International Collaboration Index of Scientific Publishing between University teaching staff and the world universities, in addition of the rank 1064 in the International Reputation Index of Scientific Research, and 1034 in the Index of Books Published in the International Publishing Houses. It is worth mentioning that this Ranking does not need to provide data from universities, but depends entirely on the American Clarifit databases to measure scientific research indicators for universities around the world.
