Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, BU president announces that the website of military education of Benha University has been launched to open the door for the interested participants to get enrolled in the military education training courses. This comes in accordance with the strategic plan of the University to computerize the different departments and Egypt’s vision 2030. Benha University announces several academic vacancies in the university’s faculties, such as the faculty of physical education, the faculty of physical therapy, the faculty of engineering/ Benha, the faculty of applied arts, the faculty of computers and physical education.  It’s noteworthy that the applications should be submitted to the faculty’s dean within 15 days of vacancy announcement and applications will be disregarded if submitted before or after the announcement.  

Benha University participates in the 14^th round of the international forum of higher education (EduGate) that will last to 29^th of February in one of Cairo greatest hotels. This forum is conducted under the auspices of prof.Dr. Ayman Ashour, the minister of higher education in the presence of governmental, national, international and private universities. Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway inspects the university pavilion with prof. Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama, the secretary-general of Arab Universities Union, prof.Dr. Ali Shams EL-Din, the head of EduGate and the former president of Benha University, and Ms. Herro Mustafa Garg, the American ambassador in Cairo. The forum is highly attended by many students to get to know the newest academic programs of the Universities around the world.

Under the auspices of Prof. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President; the University participated in the Virtual Forum for Higher Education between China, France, and Africa which organized by the Chinese Wuhan University in the duration from 29 to 30 October 2020 under the title of " Higher education under the impact of the Corona epidemic". The forum included two main topics, namely the development of teaching methods in higher education and the possibility of using international relations between educational institutions in training their employees. The official language of the conference was French. It is worth mentioning that Benha University was represented by Prof. Hassan El Bahrawy, the professor of French literature at the faculty of arts

Within the framework of Benha University's endeavor to accredit its faculties from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAA); Prof. Gamal El Saeed, the University President chaired the Board Meeting of the Quality Assurance Center in the presence of Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs. During the meeting, the University President congratulated the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine for renewing its accreditation for the second time and urged the Board of Directors to continue providing technical support and organizing simulation visits to all the faculties to qualify them for the institutional and program accreditation depending on the nature of each faculty and the number of its programs.

Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University "BU" Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs; Prof. Tamer Samir, BU Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs; and Prof. Reda Abdel Halim, the Dean of the Faculty of Law opened the 14th Annual Scientific Conference of the Faculty under the title of "Law and Egypt's Water Security towards a Comprehensive Vision to protect our Water Resources". In his speech, El Gizawy conveyed a message of thanks and greetings from Prof. Gamal El Saeed, BU President to the Faculty of Law on the occasion of its celebration of the Silver Jubilee and the 25th anniversary of its establishment. He said also that the Conference is in line with the National Strategy for Science, Technology and Innovation as well as Egypt's Vision 2030 for sustainable development, as the state places at the forefront of its priorities the water issue, rationalization and raising the efficiency of its use through several axes. In the same context, Samir expressed his happiness for the presence between a constellation of jurists and judicial bodies, congratulating the Faculty of Law on the occasion of its celebration of the Silver Jubilee. Samir added that the water is one of the most important issues that concern the public opinion in Egypt, pointing out that the State is keen to find solutions and alternatives to face the water shortage through the establishment of seawater desalination plants and the development of irrigation methods as well as other matters related to water resources in Egypt.

The Sector of Postgraduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs, Benha University announced that the Science and Technology Development Fund "STDF" has opened the applying for financed grants in several fields: 1- Post Graduate Support Grant for post graduate studies researchers - Master's degree (MSc) and Doctorate degree (PhD) students. The total budget should not exceed: - 250,000 L.E for Master students - 350,000 L.E. for Doctorate students. 2- Second COVID-19 Pandemic Emergency Call, this Call is a continuation of the researches launched by STDF last March by the onset of the pandemic. The budget will be: - 3,000,000 LE for Regular project - 10,000,000 LE for Multi Center Project - 30,000,000 LE for Mega project. The E-learning Center, Benha University has launched, under the auspices of Prof. Gamal El Saeed - the University President, the platform of Distance Learning Management System "LMS" in the frame of the University's policy for digital transformation, raising and improving the technological capabilities of teaching and learning processes. Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs said that the LMS works on Moodle providing learning opportunity for all the University students in an appropriate educational environment which enabling all students to communicate with the teaching staff applying the hybrid education system, which depends on the combination of face-to-face and distance learning. El Gizawy added that the students and teaching staff can visit LMS platform throughout the following link: https://elearning.bu.edu.eg it is worth mention that the students and teaching staff can get their accounts to enter the platform by contacting the technological services units at the faculties or the coordinators of e-learning at the scientific departments.

Major General Abdel Hamid El Hagan, Qalyoubia Governor and Prof. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President received Prof. Ashraf Sobhy, the Minister of Youth and Sports in the presence of Prof. Osama Salah, the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education; the Faculty Vice-deans; Mr. Refaat Nan, the University Assistant Secretary General for Administrative Affairs; and the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports at Qalyoubia. The meeting came on the sidelines of PhD discussion presented by Researcher/ Mohamed Fawzy from the Faculty of Physical Education, Benha University under the title of " A proposed strategy for developing sports activities programs for specialized faculties at the Ministry of Youth and Sports".

In the frame of Benha University's "BU" policy to open up to local, regional and international universities for maximizing the partnership opportunities between them, BU International Relations Office has organized a webinar with the American University in Cairo "AUC" under the auspices of Prof. Gamal El Saeed - BU President. The participants in the webinar from BU are: Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, BU Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs; Prof. Hala Zayed, the Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence; Prof. Mahran El Naggar, the Director of the International Relations Office; and Prof. Abdel Samiee Halawa, from the Faculty of Medicine. The participants in the webinar from AUC are: Prof Ehab Abdel Rahaman, the AUC Vice-president; Prof. Alaa Idrees, the Deputy Assistant for Scientific Research; Prof. George Marqes, the Dean of Students' Affairs; and Prof. Ahmed Abdel Latif. El Gizawy said that the webinar discussed the ways of cooperation between BU and AUC at the level of academic programs, scientific research, innovation and creativity, in order to maximize the use of the financial and human potentials of the both universities. In the same context, AUC invited some professors with students from BU to visit it to identify the opportunities available in it, the nature of study and the various fields of scientific research
