Mr. Mohamed El-Etreby, The Head of Banque Misr Board said that the Banque seeks to build and support the small and medium enterprises at the level of the governorates especially the partnership with the universities to serve the community. He said that 200 million Egyptian pounds have been cashed to finance developing projects that serve the community and environment during the past 5 months.

In the presence of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University and the representatives of the strategic planning in the faculties in addition to the University leaders; the workshop No.31 has been held at the University main building to present the position of the strategic plan of each faculty and put a plan for the central team to set the University strategy.

In the frame of Benha University policy for openness to the world and building a strong partnership with the global universities; Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abu Salem, the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine has visited Ohio State University in the United States of America to discuss the cooperation ways between the two Universities in the field of veterinary science.

Under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University; the University Council has approved to nominate Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mohamedin, the former President of Suez Canal University for the State Incentive Award for his position as one of the Engineering leading scientists.

Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu el Enin, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches' Affairs said that the University is going to cooperate with the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology “ASRT” in the field of the scientific publishing ethics. In this regard, ASRT will create an account on iThenticate software which is one of the most powerful software that uses in the detection of cases of scientific plagiarism.

Prof. Dr. Ashraf El Shihy, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research confirmed the caring of the Egyptian Universities to study the life problems which faces the Egyptian citizen, pointing out that the research centers conducting researches in this regard to eliminate the most important problems which headed by the energy.

An invitation to all students and graduates of Benha University to register in skills development program for students (Pathways to Higher Education) with cooperation of the faculty of Engineering, Cairo university and the International Labour Organization. This program aims to enhance skills of socially disadvantaged groups among junior and senior undergraduates as well as graduates of Egyptian Universities. It also aims to improve their capacity to access postgraduate studies, to enhance their chances to benefit from the IFP program and/or to acquire better employment/entrepreneurship opportunities.

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President; Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches' Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Maher Hasab El Naby Khalil, the Advisor to the University President for Scientific Research and the Supervisor of the Scientific Research Fund; the University organizes a workshop at the faculty of veterinary medicine under the title of “Supporting and Monitoring the Research Projects of the University Young Researchers” that will be held on Wednesday, 09/09/2015.

In the frame of Benha University openness to the world, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Iraqy, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture traveled on Tuesday, 01/09/2015 to Ohio University - USA in a10-day scientific visit to find out the latest scientific achievements in the field of agricultural sciences and to sign cooperation protocol between the University and Ohio University in the field of scientific research and student exchange.
