Benha University has participated in an international workshop about the National Qualifications Framework «NQF» which organized by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education «NAQAAE» at Hilton Ramses Hotel, Cairo in the duration from Sunday, 15/05/2016 to Monday, 16/05/2016.
It is worth mentioning that Benha University has been represented by Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President; Prof. Dr. Ghazy M.R. Assassa, the Advisor to the University President for Information Technology and the University CIO; and Prof. Dr. Hanan El Tobgy, the Quality Expert in the Faculty of Engineering at Shubra. 

  The Board of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education “NAQAAE” has approved to grant the accreditation to the faculty of agriculture in Moshtohor, Benha University in light of the results of the audit visit to the faculty.
Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University said the University witnessed a significant shift in quality assurance and accreditation in light of the accreditation of the faculties of nursing, medicine, veterinary medicine and agriculture. 

      Dr. Safwat El Nahas, the Secretary General of the Egyptian House of Zakat and Charity “EHZC” and Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University have signed a cooperation agreement to treat the poor patients and zakat beneficiaries in Benha University Hospital by the attendance of the University Vice-presidents and members of the People's Assembly

     Benha University has organized a workshop to raise the awareness and build the capacity of civil society organizations and stakeholders with cooperation of the Egyptian Sustainable Development Forum (ESDF) under the auspices and by the attendance of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President

Benha University has received under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President a delegation from the leaders of Hoazenj University, China to discuss the ways of the scientific and student cooperation between the two sides.
Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs said the delegation included the president of Hoazenj University and some deans to sign tow agreements for the student exchange and the scientific cooperation. 

           Benha University has participated in the opening of 2016 World-Class Universities Expo in Xi'an, China with participation of more than 100 world universities like Cambridge, Liverpool, Oxford, California, Chicago and Michigan.
It is worth mentioning that Benha University has represented Egypt in that Expo in the frame of Xi'an University celebration with its 120th anniversary of its foundation. 

Referring to the Visiting of King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Cairo University in Giza on Monday, April 11, 2016; Benha University presidential candidacy has been postponed to Tuesday, April 12, 2016.

Benha University has participated by a delegation from the faculty of education in the events of the 5th Scientific and 3rd International Conference organized by the faculty of education, Port Said University under the title of “Egyptian school in the 21th century in the light of global trends for education”. In the same context, Dr. Alaa Saad El Din, the Professor at the faculty of education and the director of FLDC, Benha University said the faculty has participated by a scientific research under the title of “Science and Technology Excellence Schools: Opportunities and Challenges”.

Benha University has participated in the events of the European Standards and Guidelines in Higher Education Conference 2016 which held in the Dutch capital of Amsterdam in the duration from Monday, 14/03/2016 to Tuesday, 15/03/2016 in the presence of Mr. Alexandre Wipf, the Secretary General of EURASHE .

       It is worth mentioning that the University has been represented by Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ghanem, the Director of E-learning Center.

The Council of Benha University has approved under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President and by the attendance of the University Vice-presidents and Deans to establish new department for architecture at the faculty of engineering, Benha to serve the labor market requirements according to the strategic plan of the faculty.
