Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President said that the Times Higher Education World University Rankings has announced for the new ranking of 2021 indicating that the University has occupied the rank 801 – 1000 among 527 universities in the world and 21 universities in Egypt at 4th group. Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs said that according to that ranking, the University has maintained its world place occupied in 2020 with improvement in its performance at the citation and teaching, as well as the international outlook comparing with the previous year.

Major General Abdel Hamid El Hagan, Qalyoubia Governor and Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President has opened today a number of new projects and facilities. They also have inspected and laid the foundation stone of other projects, in addition to the construction of the new specialized hospital within BU participation in the Governorate's national day and its celebration for the 15th anniversary of its establishment. In this regard, El Hagan said that the relationship between the Governorate and the University is close, and the University is its home of expertise, pointing out that the Governorate is ready to provide all support to BU in order to present its scientific and service message to the people of Qalyoubia Governorate. He also praised the size of the projects that are being built on the BU's land to serve the people of the Governorate, confirming that the University has expertise and a strong infrastructure that would develop the educational, research and community service process. In the same context, El Saeed expressed for his happiness and the family of BU in participating the people of Qalyoubia in their celebrations of the Governorate's national day. He also congratulated Qalyoubia Governor, and the people of the Governorate on the occasion of celebrating the 152nd National Day, confirming that BU with all its capabilities, scholars, experts and researchers, is at the service of Qalyoubia Governorate.

Dr. Tarek Mustafa Ibrahim, from the Faculty of Medicine has presented a research study to the University Sector of Post Graduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs to get master`s degree under the title of " Effectiveness of Using Antibiotics for Pneumonia Patients due to the Use of a Ventilator". In the same context, Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs said that the University pays attention to the medical sector in order to keep pace with the steady progress in this field by preparing an efficient specialist doctor who contributes positively for providing health care to all segments of society in addition to developing the medical service provided in the University hospitals and medical centers, which helps to achieve international quality standards in the medical education field.

Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs said that the Researcher/ Rawan Mohamed Mahmoud, the demonstrator at the Faculty of Science has got fully-funded master scholarship from Fulbright to study in Ohio State University in the field of biophysics, which is one of the most popular scholarships in the world, as the program provides 8,000 scholarships annually. It is worth mentioning that the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Ohio State University is one of the most famous and influential scientific entities on the international level in the field of biophysics

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President and Prof. Dr. Randa Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs; the University Technology Innovation Commercialization Office (TICO) organizes distance free courses throughout ZOOM application in the field of entrepreneurship under the title of " Generate Your Business". The courses aim to enhance the culture of self-employment among the university students, based on the University's participation in the State's efforts to combat unemployment, open new fields to provide job opportunities and search for alternative sources of income. Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches' Affairs said that a research team from Benha University "BU" and other researchers from China, India, and Sudan published in the Journal of Food Biochemistry a study about Tannins inhibit SARS‐CoV‐2 through binding with catalytic dyad residues of 3CLpro: An in silico approach with 19 structural different hydrolysable tannins.
Dr. Ibrahim Khalifa, the lecturer at the food industry department, faculty of agriculture and the head of BU research team said that the corona epidemic resulting from infection with novel coronavirus "covid19", has raised the concerns of the World Health Organization as well as all over the world.

Dr. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President has received today Dr. Mohamed El Shahat El Gendy, the President of The Egyptian University of Islamic Culture “Nur-Mubarak”, Kazakhstan on the sideline of participation in a jury and discussion committee for master thesis at the Faculty of Education in the presence of Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches' Affairs and Dr. Eman Abdel Haq, the Faculty Dean.
El Saeed said that meeting discussed the ways of cooperation between the Islamic University and Benha University in the similar programs at both universities, indicating that the Egyptian University of Islamic Culture is one of the most important beacons of Islamic thought in Kazakhstan and the countries of Central Asia.
